Yellow Type2 VW Bus

VW’s were definitely the bus of choice for camping in at Glastonbury. This yellow T2 would have been seen by almost all as they walked up the hill out of Gate C.
My latest updates on Twitter...- @oh_cat only charity gig I promoted I made sure all acts & soundman got paid enough to cover travel costs. some donated back, but not all
- @oh_cat I've seen numerous moderately talented but skint bands give up as they got fed up of paying to play & could no longer afford it.
- @oh_cat maybe in towns big enough for healthy scenes maybe, venues just turned to other cheap forms of entertainment dj's kareoke etc
- @Antonietta_E people just seem to forget how to drive on that bit of road! add to that the badly driven grockleboxes, no wonder it's chaos!
- @cloud64 totally agree! empire is ok, tho a 30min drive, patheticly overcrowded & impossible to park. not keen on a bar tho.
- @oh_cat exactly! venues cut out the promoters & booked talentless crap who'd play for free, people stopped going venues then closed/stopped
- @oh_cat it ended up w/ scene dieing as talentless crap who could afford to play 4 free every w/end did so & talent went & played elsewhere
- @oh_cat I once worked as a local promoter & found most local bands happily exploited to play for free, venues then preffered charity gigs!
